Our time w/Glen &Sarah Biggs

We had the great pleasure of hosting Glen & Sarah Biggs and their 2 children Ethan and Jasmine in August. Glen and Sarah are old bible college friends and now Regional Directors & Missionaries in Davao City, Philippines. For 6 years, Glen & Sarah have been building a base from ground up and now have a staff of 20. To hear The Biggs speak of the amazing things God is doing thru their base w/kids, youth and families immediately brought a spark to mine and David's heart to get involved. Global Impact is a christian organization that provides homes to orphans, abandoned children, disadvantaged youth and impoverished single parents. And all these homes have great need! Balakbayan boxes (see sidebar for a picture) are a way to get some of these needs filled. Normal products we take for granted everyday are a treasure for them. For a minimal fee, a box of up to 200lbs can be shipped from our door to theirs. The Music Factory (David and I) have partnered w/Global Impact to be a supporter and help. Our goal is to ship a box every 2-3 months to begin with and hopefully 1 each month thereafter! Also, David and I have been invited to Davao City in April to teach. We are believing for this wonderful opportunity to be used of the Lord and hope to bring a team w/us!
