Mother's Day

We had a great early Mother's day celebration with Chris & Dorothy on Saturday. Melissa my amazing sister in law put on a dinner for the mom's and truly out did herself. She has become quite the hostess, cooking up a scrumptious dinner, and just as tasty desserts. (With pies made from scratch). We were able to spend some good quality time together. On Sunday, mom, David, myself and Bella had a little time of our own as an immediate family and went to lunch. We then did one of my favorite things in the world..Take Bella to the park to ride the train and come home to relax and watch a good chick flick. Ahhhhhh I have the best husband and baby girl!
Watching Bella grow up and become quite the little girl is one of my true treasures. She has a such a beautiful & compassionate spirit. I love it when she just climbs up in mine or David's lap and ask if she can snuggle. It of course makes this mom's heart melt. She brings us so much joy and laughter. Just the other day Nana bought her a roll away barbie suitcase. She uses it to take her favorite toys to Grandma & Grandpa's and to church. But this particular day she kept climbing in and out of it, sitting with her dollies and having a grand ol' time by herself. The belly laughs she has are the best!
