We've Moved! Praise the Lord we finally did it! After many years of wanting to move we put our house up for sale and David left his job in Phoenix, AZ. Our new chapter has begun in beautiful, cool San Diego, Ca. I have always been a California girl. I love the breathtaking ocean views and taste of authentic mexican fare. I am happy that David (who has never lived in California before but in many states across the U.S) and the kids get to also experience what I had growing up. I always had a desire in my heart to be here in Southern California near my dad and 2 siblings. I spent many years away from them and I never truly felt complete about that. I now get to enjoy making new memories with my family as well as build new relationships with new friends. So far, we have adapted Thursday nights at Dad's house. We have dinner, fellowship and then watch a family favorite show.
The kids have adapted well. (minus the continuous runny noses from the cool weather) It has been a joy to see them run around at the beach or walk barefoot without the scare of scorpions!
David, I am excited to share, is working in his dream job! He received a call one day from a gentleman that was given Davids name and information as a referral for a need that unexpectedly came up. When the Lord blesses, He always blesses beyond our imagination! You will find David in his creative gifting; writing, producing, engineering; in audio &video and many things technical. You don't need to push him out of bed in the morning, He is up early and ready to start his days! The Music Factory will continue here open for projects, but will work in a new capacity. Not so much as a recording studio for now but as consultants and live audio recordings. It's time for change!
We recently moved into our new apartment. We decided to acclamate for a year and take things slow since we sold most of our possessions to start new. We can decide where we'd like to possibly buy again. For now, a beautiful apartment home 5 min from my dad is home. The serene environment and views of green trees and exotic colors is a great welcome to us. We love the ammenities here and the walking distance to Starbucks!! :-)
You can find me planning goals, assisting David administratively on a couple projects and taking care of the kids. Busy Busy but I love it! Bella will be starting public school for the first time ever. Although we love homeschooling, this is to help in the new transition and is just til the end of the school year. We will then re-group and assess the next step for her and the 2 boys. There are great schools in the community we are in. This will be a nice change for bella who is so social and who loves learning! She really has an artistic hand. Lately she has begun drawing and painting. This lovebug continues to surprise me in her creativity. The 2 boys..well they run me wild during the day. Isaiah is 3 1/2yrs old. He loves everything Star Wars and anything Wii related! and Isaac just turned 2 on New Year's Eve. Isaac loves anything brother does. The boy is passionate about everything he does. From "squishes" (hugs) to his facial expressions.
I love my kids, they have brought David and I so much joy and laughter and they have also challenged me in ways that have shaped me into the mommy I am today. I am truly blessed by them.
With the new church we are at and many options of new activities in the community, the kids will soon be jumping in with new stories to share I'm sure..
Well that's some of the new exciting things we are working on/are up to. We thank you for your continued love, support and prayers. It has been quite a ride lately, but we are so thankful, humbled and excited because we know we are not here by chance. There is work to do and we are relying on the Lord to lead us! May your days be filled with the leading of the Lord and may His favor follow you and bless you and your family!
