During the summer we were so thrilled to have my brother Michael and his family stay w/us for 2 weeks. We with my mom were incredibly blessed to hear God speak a word individually to us and as family units at Family Camp. Family Camp is something David and I have always looked forward to each year in July. Its a time where we with our kids get away to the mountain top in Prescott, AZ. A time to be refreshed in the presence of God. A time to focus only on Him with no other agenda then to be still before Him as we seek His face.
This year having Michael, Natal, Noah, Shane, and little Danica made our trip worth gold :-) It had been almost 3yrs since I had seen my brother and I hadn't met my beautiful nephew and niece. Mountain House, California may only be 12 hours away, but for me it has seemed a million miles away.
Having 6 kids running around the house was a little loud, but David and I went to bed at night smiling that our family was together and the cousins were having so much fun with eachother. We are hoping to see them, along with my other brother Mark, my nephew Justen, his new wife Thomasia and my new great niece Faith Elizabeth delaTorre at Christmas. It's awesome to see our family growing. God has truly been good!
