November 2008

November 2008 Since our last post, we celebrated Isabella's birthday and Isaiah's dedication. I was incredibly blessed to have my dad and my brother Mark come in from California for both events that were celebrated a couple days apart. Isabella was joyously overwhelmed by the love and the gifts she was showered with by not only her family but friends that are very much family to us as well. A BIG thank you to each of you that remembered her. (Her toy room shows how very blessed she is!) Isaiah's dedication was amazing. This was a day that meant a great deal to David and I. Dedicating our son to the Lord and making a covenant commitment before the Lord and in front of our family and our church was not only emotional but memorable. Again, A BIG heartfelt thank you to those who stood w/us and prayed w/us. Attached you will find a few pictures of the 2 celebrations. In September & October our friend Liz Samuels took some amazing photos of our family. Birth pictures of Isaiah and candid shots of lil' miss Isabella. I am sure you'll agree the pictures are beautiful. David and I pray that you are finding favor w/the Lord in your family, finances and your place of business. May your thanksgiving be a celebration of all that HE has done for you! We love you and believe in you....

Hi Rita! It's me, Alicia (Gabe's wife). I saw that you had a blog too, so I got excited and wanted to read yours! I wanted to tell you that your kids are just adorable! I read the part of your blog about how you met your husband, and I think that is so awesome!! Gabe & I have been saved for 8 years now, and I can't even imagine our lives w/out the Lord! We're pretty busy w/ our kids and church. Gabe plays on the praise & worship team (percussion), and our two oldest kids also play guitar and sing for the Jr. High group. God has just totally blessed that area in our lives! We fellowship at Calvary Chapel San Jose. Been there for 7 years (after we moved back from Hawaii).

Anyway, I know Gabe has been excited to reconnect w/ old friends from back in the day, but even more excited when someone he knew is totally sold out for Jesus!!

When you get a minute (I know you're busy w/ your cute little babies), check out my blog, and you can kinda get a glimpse into our lives.

God bless you, Rita!!!
Alicia
