3.21.08- a day at the lake

Hi Again. I know it has only been a few days since my last post, but I wanted to share some updated photos of the family. It's a rare occasion when David gets a half day from work, and since I had been wanting to do a special lil' outing for the 3 of us to Lake Pleasant for some time, yesterday we got that time. Bella and I were so thrilled! Not just to get some good family time, but because yesterday was a special day. We have been on a 21 day fast with our church. We along with the church have been pressing in spiritually to see breakthrough in various areas. Yesterday, was the 2nd to the last day of the fast. The church was getting together in the evening to pray and praise (worship) for all we know in our hearts God has done. I really wanted to get some time at the waters edge. A place I have always been able to hear or just feel God's spirit. So having that time with my wonderful husband and beautiful daughter and knowing the Lord was there w/us made for a very special day. It was completion for me. There was no real time of prayer there, more a point of connection w/God for me and an inner peace. I wanted so much to jump in that water! :-) but unlike California's lakes, you really couldn't do that at Lake Pleasant. And if there was ever a time I wish I had a Jetski or boat, this would have been it. (Again, to get into that water). We were able to have a nice picnic, good conversation, and some good ol' fashioned family time. It was a beautiful day and one that although nothing fancy, nonetheless was perfect! Hi Everyone! We wanted to let everyone know that David, Bella and I are all doing very well. I am just about 17 weeks along, and feeling great. After much thought and prayer we have decided on a name! Isaiah David delaTorre Means,OR "Zaiah" as we'll call him. My kids will I am sure, love that they have 20+ characters in their name. But hey, I will always carry my pappa's last name and proud to carry David's as well. :-) Life has been busy as usual. David is getting ready to start his next 6 weeks of in depth ministry classes at church called "CIA". So Bella and I have been loving our time w/ Daddy before his time is limited again. We are so excited for him. He has really stirred up his passion for the Lord and we all have gone a new depth in the Lord. God has truly been good. Besides this, The Music Factory has begun a youth project for Absolute. This is the incredible youth ministry at Grace North. They are working on a few demos for their youth camp. We know it will be incredible! Bella is doing great. She is growing so fast and already adjusting to becoming a big sister. She loves to talk to my tummy and chat with Zaiah. She lays her lil' hands to pray over her brother, it is honestly the cutest thing ever! We love hearing from you, and how you and your families are doing, please know your in our hearts and prayers!
