It's a boy!!

HI!!!We wanted to share the great news...we are having a boy! We had a series of ultrasounds the past couple of days and although I am "technically" to early in pregnancy to determine the baby's sex....you can see by the pictures that we are DEFINITELY having a boy. We were surprised to find out so soon, but nevertheless so very excited. I will of course be having another set of ultrasounds at my 19th week ( I am 14 weeks now) which will be much more clear on gender, but according to the specialist yesterday, they are 100% sure this is a boy! I'm sure you'll agree. We have our list of names and praying about what we will call him. We have so many great names (yes grandpa chris, I got your submittal of David Christopher Miguel Means) ,but we have yet to decide. We will of course keep you updated on the final decision and on our sweet lil' guys progress in the weeks to come. Since I am in my 30's I am being given many tests to check on my health and baby's. David and I see it as a blessing. We are in peace that all is well, and God has been faithful to this. Baby is very healthy and exactly growing as he should. We are scheduled for Aug.29th as our official due date but since I will be delivering C-section, it's anticipated for delivery 10 days prior. Its actually great to have an exact date so my family can fly in from California to be here if they can. Praise God! Bella was so sweet and the appt yesterday. She got to hear the heartbeat and the pictures on the flat screen during the ultrasound. But she did cry at the news that she would not be having a sister. She has quickly come around and is thrilled that she gets to teach baby brother how to bake, and play in her lil' kitchen...(why not david is quite the baker extraordinare! Haha). She is even looking forward to sharing her room "for awhile" so she can be close and keep an eye on brother. We are very very happy.Also our very dear friends Scott & Lydia and Bernard & Nikki are also having boys (just about 3 months ahead of us) so it is so fun that already baby brother is making his best friends! (Steve and Stef our other dear friends also just had a boy & girl during Christmas) Parties will be fun!!!! :-D We hope you enjoy the pics.
