Happy New Year!
Hello to all. Time has once again gotten by us. Since our last post, we wrapped up Christmas Street and what a success it was. The entire team had a blast in the performances and we were all incredibly blessed at watching the hand of the Lord move thru the performances. Many accepted Jesus as their savior and many re-dedicated their lives. We look forward to Christmas Street 2008!
David, Bella and I, were able to take a short vacation over Christmas to see family in California. This was a very special time for me. I was able to spend Christmas with my entire family. This has not happened in a very long time. It was priceless to see Bella playing with Grandpa Miguel and laughing with her now 21 month old cousin Noah and 16 year old cousin Justen. They are all so funny together...it truly was a treasured time for me.
When we arrived back into Phoenix the day after Christmas, we were able to celebrate again with my Means Family. Bella of course was thrilled because the love AND the presents kept on coming! Thanks to Grandpa Chris and Grandma Dorothy, Bella received her very own "kitchen." And believe me it is quite the kitchen! (It came complete with its very own Sunbeam blender. She just may give Daddy competition in baking someday :-)
Also, David and I received are very own "special gift” for Christmas. We found out that we are pregnant!!! This of course was to our surprise, but a very wonderful surprise nonetheless. We are so excited! Next week we have an ultrasound appointment to find out how far along we are. If calculations are right, I am about 8 weeks! We will of course keep you updated on our pregnancy as the weeks progress. So until next time, may the peace of the Lord fill you and your homes and may the favor from his grace consume you!
