Our new ventures...
I am happy to share that I am now an independant distributor for Gold Canyon Candles. I have taken my love of candles to the next step and decided to make a fun business of it. Many of you have already begun to support me in this and have placed some great orders. Thank you. To visit my site, please see the sidebar to the right and click on rita's candle collection.
David is also in full force with his love as well. The Music Factory is in swing and taking on clients. David is already working on this year's "Christmas Street" Christmas program for Grace North Church. With his amazing talent, he is making great strides already and it is only half way into the year. This is probably a good thing since he has just accepted 2 more projects with other clients. I love that this is David's ministry to the body of christ and to non-church goers alike. He never wants to see or hear that a talented individual(s) go without the necessary tools to play music. And money should never be the obstacle that hinders a God-given gift. So as you can see we are busy bees. If you are wondering about our jobs...Yes, we are still working full time! Bella has been a trooper through it all and God has been faithful to not let us miss a beat with her. We have incredible family time together and actually, since Bella herself is already showing musical talents and mimicks her daddy to a "T", she spends a lot of time in the studio with her own lil' guitar and piano rocking out with David!

Mother's Day

We had a great early Mother's day celebration with Chris & Dorothy on Saturday. Melissa my amazing sister in law put on a dinner for the mom's and truly out did herself. She has become quite the hostess, cooking up a scrumptious dinner, and just as tasty desserts. (With pies made from scratch). We were able to spend some good quality time together. On Sunday, mom, David, myself and Bella had a little time of our own as an immediate family and went to lunch. We then did one of my favorite things in the world..Take Bella to the park to ride the train and come home to relax and watch a good chick flick. Ahhhhhh I have the best husband and baby girl!
Watching Bella grow up and become quite the little girl is one of my true treasures. She has a such a beautiful & compassionate spirit. I love it when she just climbs up in mine or David's lap and ask if she can snuggle. It of course makes this mom's heart melt. She brings us so much joy and laughter. Just the other day Nana bought her a roll away barbie suitcase. She uses it to take her favorite toys to Grandma & Grandpa's and to church. But this particular day she kept climbing in and out of it, sitting with her dollies and having a grand ol' time by herself. The belly laughs she has are the best!

Easter 2007

We had a great Easter this year. Arizona had beautiful weather, not quite too hot-yet! The springtime flowers were in full bloom and we got to celebrate one of our favorite holidays, Resurrection Sunday! Church was wonderful with its amazing music and a time of worship for our Lord. I wasn't able to see my family in California, but my heart was with them. Mom went home to visit and brought back all the fun updates. We spent a lovely afternoon with "Jampa and Grandma Dot" as bella affectionately calls her grandparents and had some of "auntie missas" yummmmy cookies! Attached are some photos of lil' Ms. Bella in her pretty easter dress.

Bella Bu at Easter

Here are some recent photos of Ms. Bella girl at Easter. She had so much fun looking for Easter Eggs and dressing up like a big girl in her pretty dress.
